Certified Pool Operator

Maintenance company based out of Atlanta is seeking a skilled pool service technician with a minimum of three years’ experience to join our team as a Certified Pool Operator. The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in the pool management industry, with an ability to provide exemplary service to an existing client-base. This position requires a fun a positive disposition, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to stay on task.

Compensation: $40,000-$70,000 annually

Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 15 days PTO (after 90 days)

Responsibilities

  • Managing swimming pool operations
  • Swimming pool cleanings and repairs in the field as needed
  • Visually inspect pool areas to ensure they are up to our standards of cleanliness and water chemistry
  • Travel is required during the pool season within the Atlanta area
  • Interacting with customers on a time-to-time basis to assess and improve satisfaction levels
  • Ordering of pool chemicals and equipment as needed
  • Getting the pool ready for opening and closing season
  • Performing winter and summer maintenance
  • Prepare field reports for completed maintenance
  • Perform any repair work upon approval if capable of doing so
  • Regular site inspections, pool openings and closings
  • Installation of filtration system
  • Ensuring best practices are followed
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Ensure that the pools are vacuumed, chemical balanced, surrounding area is clean and inviting to guests
  • Provided regular guidance to staff at facility and employee-related matters (i.e., customer service, disciplinary, training, recruitment and selection)
  • Operating various brand of pumps, filters, automated controls, heaters, salt systems and in-floor cleaning systems
  • Provide positive client experience
  • Anything else necessary to build the brand and perform your job at the highest level possible

Requirements

  • Must have current driver’s license and insurance
  • Must have Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license
  • Possess a thorough understanding of pump rooms and pool mechanics including water
  • Chemistry and operation of chlorination and filtration systems
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks well
