Alpharetta-based residential construction and property maintenance firm is seeking an individual that can perform all aspects of residential renovations, light construction, and property maintenance. This associate will execute project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation for small and medium-sized jobs. We are looking for a team leader who knows how to make clients happy.
Responsibilities this job include BUT ARE NOT limited to:
- Must have experience estimating
- Must have remodeling experience including knowledge of all components of residential constructions
- Must have experience with demo/materials takeoffs and ordering
- Must have experience with foundations, framing, drywall installation
- Must have experience with cornice, window and door installations, painting and tile installation
- Must have experience with light plumbing and electrical, appliance installations, installation of hardware
- Must be able to manage multiple projects spread across the Atlanta MSA
- Generating scopes from scratch and producing competitive proposals
- Delegating work and assignments to maintenance technicians, handymen, construction workers, laborers, and/or third-party vendors based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints
- Must have recruiting experience and be able to interview and hire other contractors and maintenance technicians
- Must have experience vetting subcontractors and vendors that are licensed and insured and establishing lucrative partnerships
- Conducting site checks to monitor progress and quality. As well as ensuring projects are completed within scope
- Ensuring that work is generally proceeding in a good and workmanlike manner and in general accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and schedule
- Leading all aspects of each project at each community as well as managing the workflow of multiple incoming work orders
- Managing and verifying compliance with permit requirements
- Assisting with material procurement to include keeping track of inventory and equipment
- Ensuring supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
- Handling administrative tasks while managing construction projects
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing & performing residential renovations
- Working knowledge of custom construction work, specifically build requirements and finishing skills
- The ability and willingness to do self-perform work (framing, drywall, etc.)
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
